DEFINITIONS.The following definitions shall apply. “TBBT” shall mean The Bath Boat Trip “HIRER” shall mean the person initiating contact. “BOAT” shall mean the motor vessel Princess Cassia. “CHARTER” shall mean the excursion for which the hirer has booked. “HIRE CHARGE” shall mean TBBT’s charge for the Charter. “BOATMASTER” shall mean the person appointed by the TBBT as the representative on the charter. “PASSENGER” shall mean any person including the Hirer who takes part in the Charter. “THE ENTERTAINMENT CHARGE” shall mean the charge (if applicable) for the supply by the TBBT for food and drink and any other entertainment requested by the Hirer.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING. Confirmation of booking will be communicated upon receipt of the requested deposit or payment in full. The Hirer will be deemed to have read and agreed to these booking conditions upon confirmation.
CANCELLATION BY THE HIRER. Should the Hirer wish to cancel, no refund will be given unless TBBT is able to resell the charter. Should TBBT be successful in reselling, a £100 administration fee will be payable.
No refunds will be entertained after 4 weeks prior to departure.
CANCELLATION BY TBBT. If for any reason it is necessary for TBBT to cancel the booking, all monies paid by the Hirer to TBBT will be refunded in full, but the Hirer nor any third party shall have a further claim against TBBT in respect of the cancellation and TBBT shall accept no liability for any consequential loss to the Hirer.
CANCELLATION BY FORCE MAJEURE. In the event of war, strike, crime, plague or any other act of God, TBBT reserves the right to postpone the charter, deferring the sailing to a mutually acceptable date and time.
COVID-19 Should government legislation prevent you from attending your charter, TBBT agrees to allow you to reschedule to a mutually agreeable and available date. Please ensure you have separate insurance as no refund will offered.
TBBT reserves the absolute right to alter the course of the charter at the discretion of the Boatmaster.
All passengers taking part in the Charter do so entirely at their own risk and TBBT whilst taking all reasonable precautions shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury, damage or costs sustained by the Passengers nor any loss or damage to their personal effects whilst on board or ashore.
PAYMENT. The relevant deposit stated is payable on booking. A receipt for the deposit will be emailed upon request. The remainder of the fee is payable 28 days before the date of the Charter. Any additional Hire Charges or Entertainment Charges requested by the Hirer whether on the Booking Form or separately must be paid before the departure of the Charter. An invoice will be sent after the Charter. Any overpayment resulting from a reduction in the Hire Charge or Entertainment Charge notified to and agreed by TBBT that are in accordance with the Booking Conditions will be refunded to the Hirer with the invoice after the Charter. Any payment due to TBBT remaining unpaid at the end of the Charter should be paid no later than 28 days from the date of the Charter after which TBBT may charge interest on the outstanding amount at 4% above the current minimum lending rate of the Bank of England.
