The following definitions shall apply to this agreement:

1. "TBBT" shall mean The Bath Boat Trip.

2. "HIRER" shall mean the person or entity initiating contact with TBBT for the purpose of booking the Charter.

3. "BOAT" shall mean the motor vessel Princess Cassia, which is owned and operated by TBBT.

4. "CHARTER" shall mean the excursion or boat trip for which the Hirer has made a booking with TBBT.

5. "HIRE CHARGE" shall mean the consideration charged by TBBT to the Hirer for the Charter.

6. "BOATMASTER" shall mean the person appointed by TBBT as the representative and responsible operator on the Charter.

7. "PASSENGER" shall mean any person, including the Hirer, who participates in the Charter.

8. "THE ENTERTAINMENT CHARGE" shall mean the charge, if applicable, for the provision of food, drink, and any other entertainment as requested by the Hirer and supplied by TBBT.


1. The confirmation of booking for the Charter shall be communicated to the Hirer upon the receipt of the requested deposit or full payment, as applicable. By receiving this confirmation, the Hirer shall be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions set forth herein.


1. In the event the Hirer wishes to cancel the Charter, a refund shall not be provided unless TBBT is able to resell the Charter to another party. If TBBT successfully resells the Charter, an administration fee of £100 shall be deducted from the refund amount.

2. No refunds will be entertained if the cancellation occurs within 4 weeks prior to the scheduled departure date of the Charter.


1. TBBT reserves the right to cancel the booking for the Charter due to unforeseen circumstances or reasons beyond its control. In such cases, all monies paid by the Hirer to TBBT shall be refunded in full, and the Hirer or any third party shall not have any further claims against TBBT concerning the cancellation. TBBT shall not be liable for any consequential losses incurred by the Hirer due to such cancellation.


1. In the event of war, strike, crime, plague, pandemic, or any other act of God or force majeure, TBBT reserves the right to postpone the Charter to a mutually acceptable date and time.

2. In such cases, the Hirer shall not be entitled to a refund, and the Hirer agrees to reschedule the Charter as per TBBT's availability and mutual agreement. It is the responsibility of the Hirer to obtain separate insurance coverage, as TBBT shall not offer any refunds due to force majeure-related cancellations.


1. TBBT reserves the absolute right, at the sole discretion of the Boatmaster, to alter the course or itinerary of the Charter for reasons including but not limited to safety concerns, weather conditions, or operational requirements.


1. All passengers participating in the Charter do so entirely at their own risk. TBBT takes all reasonable precautions, but it shall not be held responsible for any loss, injury, damage, or costs sustained by the Passengers, including the Hirer, or any loss or damage to their personal effects while on board or ashore.

2. The Hirer agrees to indemnify and hold TBBT harmless from any claims, demands, actions, suits, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with the Charter.


1. No refunds will be provided in the event that the Hirer or any third party considers the Charter to be unsatisfactory or not meeting their standards or expectations.


1. The Hirer shall pay the relevant deposit amount as stated in the booking upon making the reservation. Upon request, a receipt for the deposit will be emailed to the Hirer.

2. The remaining fee for the Charter is due for payment 28 days before the scheduled Charter date.No refunds will be entertained for any reduction in guest numbers, once this payment has been made.

3. Any additional Hire Charges or Entertainment Charges, whether mentioned on the Booking Form or agreed upon separately, must be paid before the departure of the Charter. An invoice will be issued by TBBT after the Charter.

4. In the event of any overpayment resulting from a reduction in the Hire Charge or Entertainment Charge, as agreed upon and notified by TBBT in accordance with the Booking Conditions, the excess amount will be refunded to the Hirer along with the invoice issued after the Charter.

5. Any outstanding payment due to TBBT that remains unpaid at the end of the Charter must be settled no later than 28 days from the Charter date. Failure to do so may result in TBBT charging interest on the outstanding amount at a rate of 4% above the current minimum lending rate of the Bank of England.

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between TBBT and the Hirer concerning the Charter and supersede all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements, whether oral or written. No modification or waiver of any provision herein shall be valid unless in writing and signed by both parties. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.
